About
ClawMax is an orchestration platform that adds a visual management layer on top of OpenClaw — dashboards, organizational structure (communities, groups, tags), workflow automation (cron or manual), a template library, execution tracking with searchable logs, and a document workspace. Existing OpenClaw agents work without modification, and the platform is fail-safe: agents continue operating independently if the dashboard goes down. Community edition is MIT-licensed and free; Cloud and On-Premise tiers are coming soon.
Teams managing more than ~10 OpenClaw agents who want structured organizational hierarchies, cron-based workflow automation, and searchable execution history — without modifying their existing agent configurations or building orchestration logic themselves.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- check Zero agent migration required — existing OpenClaw workspaces work as-is
- check Fail-safe by design — agent independence from dashboard prevents single point of failure
- check Community edition is free and MIT-licensed with full dashboard access and unlimited agents
- check Organizational structure (communities, groups, tags) makes fleet management tractable at scale
- check Template library allows one-click import of agent, workflow, and org configurations
Cons
- close Cloud and On-Premise tiers are "coming soon" — only self-hosted community edition is currently available
- close Built by a solo founder/small team — long-term maintenance and feature velocity are uncertain
- close Adds a Node.js server layer on top of OpenClaw, increasing infrastructure complexity
- close Document workspace and template library are useful but overlap with features already in ClawPort
- close No pricing published yet for Cloud/On-Premise tiers
